Each year, Frédéric Brière writes the foreword to the Jean-François Prat Prize catalogue explaining the Committee proceeded through the selection, and the highlighting the underlying issues raised in regards to the history of art and / or to the relation of art to society.
The catalog contains texts by critics, art historians and curators and is part of the collection of the Kandinsky Library of the Pompidou Center.
